Can I Really Make A Difference?

by | 16 October 2022

To preserve a liveable climate, greenhouse-gas emissions must be reduced by half by 2030 and to net zero by 2050 and every one of us can and must play our part.

It is vital that governments and businesses take bold, fast, and wide-ranging action, but the participation of individuals like you is also essential if we’re to face the climate crisis.

Our lifestyle choices can have a profound impact on the environment, with nearly two-thirds of global greenhouse emissions being linked to private households.

The UN has set out 10 actions that we can all attempt to take to help tackle the climate crisis, including saving energy at home, leaving the car at home, eating more vegetables, throwing away less food, recycling and reusing more, switching to an electric vehicle, choosing eco-friendly products.

“By making just some of these changes, we can all play our part in helping to limit global warming and taking care of our planet.”
